İOur Faculty of Theology students have once again demonstrated their sense of social responsibility. Under the leadership of Faculty Student Representative Burak Gündoğdu, the Genç İyilik Kulübü (Young Charity Club) launched the “Children Shouldn’t Freeze” project, offering hope to young hearts in rural schools.
Through this initiative, Theology students delivered clothing, coats, and toys to children in village schools, warming their spirits during the cold winter days. The Genç İyilik Kulübü’s meaningful project beautifully showcased the sense of unity, solidarity, compassion, and sharing among the students. Leading the project, Faculty Student Representative Burak Gündoğdu emphasized the importance of student engagement in social responsibility efforts:
“As the Faculty of Theology, we do not only focus on academic success; we also prioritize contributing to society. The ‘Children Shouldn’t Freeze’ project reflects that commitment.”
This endeavor goes beyond a mere act of charity. It aims to raise social responsibility awareness among young people and set an example for the wider community. By organizing such projects, the Genç İyilik Kulübü strives to inspire students to take on greater social roles.
“Remember that goodness grows when it’s shared,” say the Theology Faculty students, inviting all young people to act with social consciousness and spread kindness.
İlahiyat Fakültesi yönetimi, öğrencilerin bu anlamlı projeye verdiği destekten dolayı gurur duyduğunu belirtirken, fakülte olarak öğrencilerin sosyal sorumluluk projelerine her zaman destek vermeye devam edeceklerini açıkladı.
"Unutmayalım ki iyilik paylaştıkça çoğalır," diyen İlahiyat Fakültesi öğrencileri, tüm gençleri sosyal sorumluluk bilinciyle hareket etmeye ve iyilik yapmaya davet ediyor.
