Dr. Ahmet Aydın, a faculty member in our Faculty’s Department of Religious Education, participated in the project launch and workshop in Ankara as part of the “Imam Hatip High School Vocational Course Teachers as a Transformative Teacher Profile within the Framework of the Türkiye Yüzyılı Educational Model” project, carried out by Ankara University and the Directorate General for Religious Education. The opening program of the project was attended by Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin, Deputy Minister Assoc. Dr. Celile Eren Ökten, Deputy Minister Ömer Faruk Yelkenci, General Director of Religious Education Dr. Ahmet İşleyen, Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. Cemal Tosun, and Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar.
The aim of the activities conducted within the scope of this project is to contribute to the professional and personal development of vocational course teachers at Imam Hatip High Schools. To achieve this, the project brings together these vocational course teachers with academics in the field of religious education, creating an in-depth and interactive learning environment that addresses both the practical challenges teachers face and the theoretical knowledge produced by academics. .
